SOLD 1940s Coin Purse - Austrian Petit Point Embroidery

Embroidered on both sides this coin purse is a pretty vintage accessory from the 1940s.  The embroidery is a type known as Austrian Petit Point and the design is of pink and purple flowers with yellow middles and stems and green leaves.  The purse is black cotton fabric inside and out and there is a gold thread worked around the edges of this item.  Fastening with a secure press stud, the purse is in excellent condition.  It would be perfect to use inside a vintage handbag or to use as a gift box for a special piece of vintage or antique jewellery.  This 1940s purse measures approximately 2.75 inches by 3.75 inches by a little over half an inch.
