Vintage signed 'Miracle' Celtic Cross Pendant (SOLD)

This is a wonderful example of Celtic style jewellery by 'Miracle'.  It is lovely to come across necklaces and pendants as there are less of them around than the more usual Miracle Brooches. This Celtic Cross is in a pewtertone metal with a traditional entwined Celtic design in the centre.  Surrounding this are four large two-tone blue art glass gems and a dozen smaller faux turquoise and faux sapphire glass pieces that have the effect of enamel work.   I would estimate this piece to date from the 1970's onwards.  The pendant, which measures approximately 2 inches by 1.5 inches, is as beautifully finished on the reverse where it bears the classic 'Miracle' signature.  The chain is a silvertone textured chain 24 inches long, which fastens with a roll over type clasp. This fabulous piece of vintage costume jewelry is in excellent condition and would appeal to collectors of Celtic and Miracle jewellery alike.
