Vintage Mexican Silver Earrings - Nice Big Size! SOLD

These gorgeous hand-made Mexican earrings are sterling silver and have many  marks on them to indicate 925 for silver, Mexico for origin and the maker's mark 'MAR'.  They were originally on a screw-type fitting but I have put them onto a brand new silver fishhook wire to make them suitable for pierced ears.  They have been completely handcrafted with a cut out design and are very attractive.  I would imagine they could date back to somewhere between the 1940' and the 1960's.  Excluding the earwire they measure approx 4cms (just over 1.5 ins) in length and are about 2.5cms ( a bit under an inch) across the widest part.
