Vintage Goldtone Flower Necklace with Faux Sapphires (Sold)

This gold tone Vintage Necklace is likely to be American in origin and it dates from the late 1950's to the early 1960's and is a very pretty design.  There are five jewelled flowers on leafy stems with more foliage and a few other little blue crystals too.  Each flower is made up of 5 dark blue faux sapphires and one light blue faux sapphire in the centre.   The gold plating is soft in colour and although this is quite a bold vintage necklace it remains very feminine due to the open work with the flowers and leaves.  This vintage costume jewellery necklace finishes in a linked chain with a shaped drop and hook closure.  It is approx 17 inches in total length( including the hook and drop ) with a 2 inch adjuster allowing it to be worn as a 15 inch choker or to a full 16.5 inches to give a slightly longer necklace.  In excellent condition the necklace is about one inch wide on the decorative floral panel.  Perfect for summer balls, parties and weddings and a lovely addition to your collection of quality vintage costume jewellery and your vintage wardrobe.
