Vintage Diamante Necklace -1940's - 1950's Diamante Collar Necklace with Large Baguette Stones SOLD

Here is a really nice diamante collar necklace set with bold baguette stones and two sizes of round diamantes.  The design of this vintage necklace dates it to the late 1940s or early 1950s.  Each crystal diamante is claw set in place and every one is bright and shiny making this beautiful old necklace perfect for parties, balls and bridal wear.  The necklace is set in rhodium plated metal and measures about 15 inches in length fastening with a bolt ring clasp.   It is shown on my life size mannekin to give an idea how lovely it looks on.   A modern idea would be to wear lots of vintage sparkly diamante necklaces of varying lengths together giving an effect very like the designs of America's Tom Binns which are very fashionable right now!
