Vintage Cufflinks - 1970s Real BLING design! Gold plated Cufflinks set with Austrian Crystal (sold)

This is what you call a 'Statement' pair of cufflinks.  We are back to the early years of the 1970s - think Liberace performing on a grand piano, think Jason King with his cool suits and trademark moustache.  These are cufflinks for a man ( or girl) who really wants to be noticed!    These vintage cuff links are made from gilt metal and have the additional detail of a gilt mesh connector which adds extra decoration on a shirt cuff. The links are bejewelled with one huge Austrian gem on each measuring 2cms in diameter.  The gemstone is 'Rivoli' cut which means it is in reverse to the usual jewel with the point detail upwards.  The result of this Rivoli design gives these cufflinks a 'space age' look and it also ensures that they give out a myriad of coloured lights.  They have an 'oil on water' effect and whilst the crystals could be described as a grey colour they shine with pinks, yellows, purples and blues as the facets hit the light.  In very good condition these cufflinks are super!
