Vintage 1940s Diamante Drop Earrings on New Sterling Silver Earwires
Gorgeous diamante drop earrings where the jewel set in Rhodium coated metal is original 1940s but the ear wire is a brand new sterling silver addition. These came to me on orignal cards but with jammed 'screw-on' twists! They were part of a small selection of jewellery purchased when a local jewellers closed and they had sat in the stock room for decades. The earrings consist of a main crystal jewel which is almost triangular in shape topped with a tiny circular diamante and finished with a little chrome ball. As stated the faux 'diamonds' are completely cased in rhodium plated metal and are held in place by four claws per jewel. This pair of earrings would add a touch of 1940s glamour to a wedding or special occasion outfit. The diamante jewels are easy to match to a vintage necklace, brooch or would even sit well with your real diamond jewellery. The earrings are offered in Excellent order with brand-new, unworn silver earwires.
