Tiny Silver Greyhound Brooch set with Diamante (SORRY, THIS IS SOLD)

This cute little Greyhound pin was made circa 1910 -1920 and is Continental(935) silver. He measures approximately 4cms (1.5ins) from end to end. He is certainly built for speed and is running full out!  He has the tiniest red jewel for his eye and has diamante all over his body. Some of the diamante stones have yellowed slightly, this is common in jewellery of this age and in no way detracts from this little fella's beauty.  The overall effect is very sparkly!  There are the numbers 93 on the back which are part of the continental hallmark '935'.  Sterling standard silver is '925' so this dog brooch has a little bit more pure silver in him than Sterling! The pin shuts will a 'c' clasp.
