Three Super Mother-or-Pearl Shell Buckles on Original Cards - 1920's -1930's LOOK! (SOLD)

These vintage hand-crafted buckles are still stitched on their black paper display cards . The cards have gold floral decorations at the four corners and show the wording ' British Manufacture'.  Each of these buckles has a shiny new appearance yet they have genuine age dating from the 1920s to the 1930's Art Deco period. The measurements vary but if you consider they are approx 2.5 to 4cms then you will have a good idea.  Each of the three has it's orginal metal prong to allow it to be used on a belt. These accessories would be excellent on a length of antique fabric, or to add a vintage twist to your frock or to save for a special sewing project.  The price is for the group of three.
