Here is a classic sterling silver fob medal with one side in all silver and the reverse with a rose gold cartouche. Both cartouches are vacant and could be engraved to personalise the fob. This sterling silver fob dates to the reign of George V and was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1913. There is a full assay mark and the makers mark 'HB' for Herbert Bushell & Sons manufacturers of cigarette cases, fob medals, watch chains and T- bars. They were based in Northampton Street, Birmingham, England until 1925. this sheild shaped silver fob has some engine engraved decoration to both sides and has a self loop to the top for it to be suspended onto a watch chain, bracelet or pendant necklace. This nice old fob is in very good condition and measures approx 3 cms by 2 cms and is fairly chunky.
