SOLD Sterling Silver Shield Fob Medal - Hallmarked 1913 with Rose Gold Cartouche on the reverse

Here is a classic sterling silver fob medal with one side in all silver and the reverse with a rose gold cartouche. Both cartouches are vacant and could be engraved to personalise the fob.  This sterling silver fob dates to the reign of George V and was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1913.  There is a full assay mark and the makers mark 'HB' for Herbert Bushell & Sons manufacturers of cigarette cases, fob medals, watch chains and T- bars.  They were based in Northampton Street, Birmingham, England until 1925.  this sheild shaped silver fob has some engine engraved decoration to both sides and has a self loop to the top for it to be suspended onto a watch chain, bracelet or pendant necklace.  This nice old fob is in very good condition and measures approx 3 cms by 2 cms and is fairly chunky.
