SOLD. Miracle Celtic Brooch with Pendant Loop and Mask Face Detail - Vintage -Unusual
Miracle jewellery is collectable and enjoyed for both its traditional Celtic elements and it's quirky interpretation of certain subjects. Here is a good sized Miracle brooch, with the benefit of a pendant loop to enable it to be worn as a necklace. This brooch, which measures approximately 2ins in diameter, is finished in a pewter tone metal. The brooch has a central dark purple jewel, which sits in the middle of a cross structure. There are four more faceted dark purple glass gems in a slightly smaller size. Then there are six pale mauve satin glass jewels in cabochon shape, two in the middle, either side of the central jewel and a further four, in a slightly smaller size. Now for the unusual elements of this brooch, there are eight roundels with faces, four are crowned heads, four are winged cherubs, all in the pewter-tone metal. This signed Maracle brooch is in Excellent condition, the Miracle signature is clear to see. The brooch fastens with a pin and guarded roll over type clasp.
