SOLD Adorable Ric the Terrier - 1950's Terrier Brooch by Lea Stein of Paris - Cute n Colourful

Ric the Terrier is one of a range of cute dog brooches and pins designed by Lea Stein of Paris. There are two versions of this dog, one has a collar with a Diamond shape lozenge dangling on it the other design has studs on the collar.   Ric is a vintage 1950's style brooch that will appeal to all who adore Terrier dogs. A gorgeous, bright and cheerful coloured brooch it  is peppered with tiny bright squares in a myriad of colours including gold, red, mauve, khaki, apricot, green, pink, blue and yellow. This large terrier dog brooch has black ears, nose and eye plus a collar with a little lozenge detail.  This terrier pin is by the famous Parisian designer Lea Stein and it has her signature on the 'v' shaped pin fastening to prove it. This  dog is facing to the left when pinned on and he would look super on the lapel of a jacket- very jolly indeed!  Lea Stein collectors are often interested in the reverse patterns  on their brooches and this brooch has a plain shiny brown back with just the ears and nose contrasting.  The  Lea Stein Ric the Terrier Brooch measures about 9 cms by 6 cms. It is made of layered celluloid acetate or rhodoid.
