SOLD May Name Brooch Circa 1910 - 20
Here we have a very pretty little brooch bearing the name “MAY”. The letters stand out from a blue enamel scrolled ribbon which has been mounted on natural mother of pearl shell. I would estimate it to date from the first quarter of the twentieth century. The brooch is a small size being 27mms by 15mms at its longest and widest points. To give you a better idea of the size the third photo shows the name brooch with a new £1 coin. To the reverse we have a brass pin with a curled hook pin style closure. This May name brooch is in good condition with slight surface marks indicative of an antique piece of jewellery.
