SOLD Attila Cat Brooch by Lea Stein Paris - Pussy Pin in Glorious Colours

This designer cat brooch is a real stunner.  It has a detailed, colourful laminate with a kind of tweed looking background in black and gold but with raspberry pink splodges. It really is reminding me of the moquette fabric that used to be on an old 1930s chair seat in my Grandma's bedroom! All in all ( Grannie's Boudoir apart)  this a very colourful and rich pin.The Cat's almond-shaped eyes and pointed ears are picked out in an apricot colour which adds light and lustre to the brooch. Lea Stein's Cat designs are always so much fun and this particular brooch is known at Attila. Attila is certainly a Puss with attitude, his watchful apricot eyes see everything. Is he about to pounce?   Cat lovers everywhere have great affection for these brooches.   This is a really quirky and colourful pussy brooch.  The light nature of the cellulose acetate and the sensible positioning of the back pin ensures that the brooch will sit extremely well ( without flopping forwards) and that it is suitable to wear on lighter fabric garments as well as the lapel of a winter coat.  This gorgeous cat brooch measures 4 inches by 1.75 inches approximately.  The pin to the reverse fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp and bears the all important 'Lea Stein Paris' signature.  The reverse of the brooch is in plain black with just one ear tip picked out in apricot.
