SOLD Adorable Terrier Dog Brooch - Ric the Terrier by Lea Stein of Paris

Ric the Terrier is one of a range of cute dog brooches and pins designed by Lea Stein of Paris. There are two versions of this dog, one has a collar with a. Diamond shape lozenge dangling on it the other design has studs on the collar.   Ric is a vintage 1950's style brooch that will appeal to all who adore Terrier dogs. A gorgeous, unusual coloured brooch which has the effect of a wall mad eout of bronzed pearl shell. This large black eyed terrier dog brooch has a textured bronze coloured fabric for its contrasting coloured ears, nose and collar with a little lozenge detail.  This terrier pin is by the famous Parisian designer Lea Stein and it has her signature on the 'v' shaped pin fastening to prove it. This  dog is facing to the left when pinned on and he would look super on the lapel of a jacket- very chic indeed!  On the reverse of this brooch it is a taupe grey colour with a burgundy ear and a black one too.  The  Lea Stein Ric the Terrier Brooch measures about 9 cms by 6 cms. It is made of layered celluloid acetate or rhodoid. This is a contemporary design from Lea Stein who is famed for her jewellery, particularly her animal designs which have featured cats, foxes, dogs, birds and many other things over her history.
