SOLD A Lea Stein Cat Brooch in Unusual marbled burgundy colours - Attila the Cat Pin

Cat Lovers everywhere will adore this delightful Lea Stein Brooch!  Made of a mixed burgundy laminate with golds and blacks the colours work together to give reflection and a golden glow rather like the effect of opals but in red, pink shades. The ears and eyes contrast well in an Ivory cream colour. The Attila brooch is one of the most popular designs that Lea Stein has ever created.  It is probably something to do with the fact that this feline reminds people of their own cat with its dainty paws, wide eyes and the way its tail curves slightly up.  It really does have character!  . The light nature of the cellulose acetate and the sensible positioning of the back pin ensures that the brooch will sit extremely well ( without flopping forwards) and that it is suitable to wear on lighter fabric garments as well as the lapel of a winter coat.  This gorgeous blue cat brooch measures 4 inches by 1.75 inches approximately.  The pin to the reverse in silver tone, fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp and bears the all important 'Lea Stein Paris' signature.  The dramatic colour combination is one I have not encountered before but which is sure to delight!
