SOLD 1960's Bronze Golden Chrysanthemum Pin by Exquisite (Number 2)

This is another cold enamel Golden Bronzed Chrysanthemum pin by Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  It was one of their range of Birthday Flower Brooches introduced and extremely popular during the 1960's.  These pins came in two sizes with a flower for every month of the year.  This is the larger sized one. The Company also had a range of Leaf pins and matching earrings, as well as many other lines in quality costume jewellery. The Chrysanthemum Brooch is the pin for November.  It has a lovely golden bronze colour to the flowers but has lost some paint at the higher points on the blooms.  This doesn't detract from the brooch at all but the price reflects this.  The brooch is gold tone to the reverse but the bow and stem have a silvered look to the front with green foliage. There is the classic "bow" tied around the bunch of flowers which features on many of these designer pins. It is in good vintage condition apart from the forementioned paint loss at the high points on the blooms. What a great gift for anyone who has a November  Birthday or just because you like it! Approximate measurements are  7 cms by  a little under 4.4 cms.  This item fastens with a rollover type clasp.
