This neat English Sterling Silver Watch Fob has a smart circular raised button dome design. The cartouche silver button is mounted on the flat medallion where there are two ribbon scrolls. The button and both ribbon scrolls are 'vacant' with no engraving allowing for personalisation with initials, name etc if you wish. This silver watch fob has foliate decorations the sides which are like laurel wreaths. This silver fob also has engine engraving. There is a ring and connected bolt ring to the top which allow it to be attached to a watch chain. There are the full Lion Passant hallmarks for Sterling Silver and the Anchor which shows the watch fob medallion was assayed in Birmingham plus the letter ' H' for the year 1932. The Maker's Mark is J.F for James Fenton and Co of Great Hampton Street, Birmingham.
This silver fob is in great order with just a few surface scratches to the silver which is what you would expect on an item of jewellery which is some 80 years old. The fob medal measures 3cms by 2.5cms approx.
