SOLD Bohemian Filigree Antique Jewelled Brooch circa 1920s

This beautiful  brooch is an open Bohemian  filigree piece of a generous size with a magnificent multi-faceted central glass stone in a strong blue colour. The glass  jewels used in this brooch are flat back pastes. They have been carefully selected and placed to give lots of colour.  Each of the jewels have been claw set by hand onto the metal back plate and some are central in flower mounts. Colours include blue, red, green, aqua, yellow and purple. The white metal is pressed filigree which has a slight patina to it and it has a light construction making it sit comfortably on most fabrics without dragging down. This Bohemian brooch  is in very good condition.The brooch is circa 1920s in date and in common with other bohemian brooches of this era the pin is held in place by an old fashioned safety pin type clasp.  The brooch is round in shape and is approx 7cms in diameter.
