SOLD A Pair of Designer Yves Saint Laurent Ruby Red Hearts Two Vintage Brooches circa 1970s 1980s
Ruby Hearts are romantic symbols of love so jewellery in a heart design is bound to delight. Here we have a very pretty pair of vintage ruby red designer brooches from the famous French design house of Yves Saint Laurent. The brooches have gold plated mounts set with red resin which has been designed to resemble Maison Gripoix Poured Glass. This lovely pair of brooches date to the 1970s or 1980s. They were not originally sold as pairs but I was lucky enough to buy these as a pair and decided to offer them together for the impact they have used together and the variety of options to enjoy wearing both! Both heart brooches have a textured panel and the known YSL logo and 'Made in France' marked clearly on the reverse. They are in very good condition. These heart pins measure a little over one inch at their widest parts. There are golden pins to the reverse and these are closed by rollover style pin guards. The price shown is for two brooches.
