SOLD A Bright Flower Pot Brooch by Lea Stein of Paris

This is a very jolly brooch from the French Designer Lea Stein.  The brooch is made from cellulose acetate or Rhodoid and is very light and easy to wear.  It features two flower blooms in a bright cerise pot with dark green leaves. There is a green flower and a mauve one in the pot. Both flowers have yellow middles and each of the daisy flowers has a different finish - the green shiny smooth and the mauve with a craquelure type finish. These subtle differences are achieved by layering the cellulose acetate which gives depth to the design. This flower pot brooch measures approximately 5.5 by 4.5 cms at its widest parts and has the traditional Lea Stein pin back with a roll-over type fastener.  The piece is signed - 'Lea Stein, Paris'. This is a contemporary design from Lea Stein who is famed for her jewellery, particularly her animal designs which have featured cats, foxes, dogs, birds and many other things over her history.
