Signed Exquisite Horse Chestnut Brooch - 1960's - Golden Textured Finish - Conker Brooch (sold)

Here we have a very unusual version of the Conker or Horse Chestnut pin from the range of Leaf brooches and earrings designed in the 1960's by Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  All of their designs were registered to prevent other companies copying!  This Horse Chestnut pin features a detailed conker sitting in a deep, prickly case  with a large horse chestnut leaf behind.  The metal has a  gold tone finish to the conker, leaf and  branches and stems.  To the front of this brooch it also has a textured finish which makes it very glittery and appealing. On the reverse of the brooch the signature 'Exquisite' can be clearly seen.   This lovely 1960's vintage conker brooch is in very good condition with a secure roll over type c clasp fastening.  This vintage brooch measures approximately 3inches by 2.5 inches.  It is very wearable and would be just the thing for seasonal wear in autumn.  Why not add it to your vintage costume jewelry collection?
