Red Fox Brooch - Lea Stein Fox Pin - Shimmery Red (SOLD)

Patterned in  bright red with a lined shimmer effect,  this black eyed Fox brooch is an iconic piece from the Parisian Jewellery designer, Lea Stein.  It has been really hard to capture the true colour of this fabulous brooch as the laminate has such a shine to it that the colour appears to alter depending on the light and the background.  It is a rich true red in most lights but the layers in the laminate make it almost orange on denims and with hints of pink on yellow cashmere. These are “winter light” photos so the summer sun might add a whole new spectrum of possibilities!  The 3-D Fox brooches were first designed in the 1960s and are as popular now as they were back then.  This Fox pin is made from cellulose acetate and is a fabulous item of costume jewellery and a real statement brooch for your wardrobe or collection.
