Penguins Brooch by Jonette Jewels USA - 1980s (SOLD)

Here we have a fun brooch depicting a colony of Penguins - 9 birds in total.  The brooch is signed JJ copyright1988 which means it was made by the Jonette Jewels company in the United States of American.  Signed "JJ" brooches and pins, often with animal or bird designs, are being snapped up as discerning vintage costume jewelry collectors recognise their wit and charm.  This pewter effect brooch measures a little over 2 inches by approximately 1.5 inches and fastens with a back pin and secure roll-over type clasp.  This is an item known as "new-old" stock as it is in "as new" condition and is presented on its original shop display card marked up with the heading "Artifacts".  Now, do you need a gift for a person who collects Penguin Jewellery or will you just go ahead and treat yourself to this cool brooch?
