On hold 1940s to 1950s Lucite Floral Vintage Brooch - Kaleidoscope Flower Pin
This small vintage 1950s brooch has a kaleidoscope effect. It is made from the acrylic plastic Lucite which has been reverse-carved with a central pink open flower flanked by nice green leaves and soft blue squiggles of carving. The shape of this piece of collectable early plastic jewellery is an octagon to the front view but the reverse shows further angled cuts all around the rim which give a reflective effect. Offered in very good condition this lucite brooch measures 1.5 inches by a little of a quarter of an inch in thickness. There is a gold tone brass bar and pin to the back with a 'c' shaped closure.
