Oak Leaf with Acorns brooch - vintage pin by Miracle - Silvertone with Faux Turquoise
- Here is a really pretty vintage brooch which consists of a small, naturalistic oak leaf with three sweet acorns sitting in their cups. The acorns are made from glass which is blue with dark veins to imitate a natural turquoise stone. The metal has a silvery pewter finish to it and there is a lot of fine detailing on the surface of the leaf, the veins of the leaf and there is a cross-hatching pattern on the acorn cups. This brooch is signed on the reverse and is the work of the Miracle jewellery company their wares were originally made in Solihull, Birmingham by the Jewellers A.J. Hill . This super English Acorn with Leaf pin is supplied in a branded Miracle Jewellery presentation box with faux green gold tooled leather outer and green velvet pad. The brooch, which measures two inches in length and an inch across at its widest point, fastens with a secure roll-over clasp and is in Excellent condition with just a little darkened patina to the metal which is an indication of age on vintage and antique jewellery.
