Miracle Brooch in Tudor Style. A Vintage pin set with orange, blue and green jewels. (SOLD)
Here we have a circular white metal vintage brooch signed Miracle. The brooch has a chased and embossed design on the pewter-effect metal finish. The design is reminiscent of Tudor panels with strapping topped with floral bosses. Inset into the metal work are five flat shaped glass jewels. Each jewel is a replica of a semi-precious natural stone. So we have a flecked pale blue Turquoise, a red spotted deep green Bloodstone, a dotted mid green Marble and two Agates- one banded with orange, brown and mutton fat coloured stripes, the other the rich red orange found in a natural Carnelian. The Miracle brand always has superb faux jewels set into each design and this vintage brooch is a great example of this. The round brooch has a diameter of two inches and benefits from an open centre which will allow for the fabric of a garment to show through. This vintage brooch is in Excellent condition with a guarded 'c' type clasp to fasten the pin and a stamped 'Miracle' signature mark to the back.
