Maggie name pin in Rolled Gold Wire - 1920s to 1940s (SOLD)

This is a nice example of the hand crafted rolled gold wire name brooches popular in the 1920s through to about the early 1950's era.  The letters making up the name Maggie have been formed with lots of nice swirls and loops and look very fancy indeed!  In common with all brooches that have their fronts and pins handmade in wire this piece is only suitable for pinning onto open weave fabrics as the pins themselves are likely to damage fine fabrics. The Maggie name brooch measures approximately 5 cms by 2 cms and is in good order.  A great gift for Maggie or a super addition to a collection of antique and collectable name brooches.
