Letter “A” Brooch Circa 1920s to 1940s
Here we have a mother of pearl brooch bearing the initial “A”. The letter A is formed in Black on a mother of pearl rectangle. The rectangle is suspended from a simple chromed white metal bar. I would estimate it to date from the first half of the twentieth century circa 1920s to 1940s . The brooch is a neat size being just 3cms in length along the bar and with the rectangle of mother of pearl measuring by 3.25cms by 1.25cms at its longest and widest points. To give you a better idea of the size one of my photos shows the A brooch with a new £1 coin. To the reverse we have a pin with a guarded stock pin style closure. This A name brooch is in good condition.
