Lea Stein Cat Brooch in Marvellous Mauves and Gold (SOLD)

Lea Stein's Cat which she named Attila is certainly a Puss with attitude! Is he or She about to pounce?  This Lea Stein cat brooch is a delight and it will add a little bit of fun to any outfit. Cat lovers everywhere have great affection for these brooches.   This is a realistic Cat brooch with dainty paws and a tail curving slightly up.  It really does have character! This particular pussy is a really pretty animal with a superb laminate pattern of mauves, blues and gold and contrasting black ears and eye details. This has been a particularly tricky colour to capture so photos here show it outside in the sun and inside, the first two photos are probably the most true to colour.  The reverse of the brooch is a bluey grey and white marbled effect.  The light nature of the cellulose acetate and the sensible positioning of the back pin ensures that the brooch will sit extremely well ( without flopping forwards) and that it is suitable to wear on lighter fabric garments as well as the lapel of a winter coat.  This gorgeous cat brooch measures 4 inches by 1.75 inches approximately.  The pin to the reverse in silver tone, fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp and bears the all important 'Lea Stein Paris' signature.  The reverse of the brooch is in a pale apricot colour.
