Lea Stein Black Cat Pin - - Attila the Cat in Silver and Black (SOLD)

Lea Stein's Cat designs are always so much fun and this one is a Lucky Black Cat for anyone of a superstitious bent. An added bonus with this Puss is that the black has a subtle silver herringbone weave pattern for added sparkle. This Puss has attitude as he has narrow cream eyes and wide spaced ears with ivory cream insets.  Is he about to pounce?  This Lea Stein cat is a delight and it will add a little bit of fun to any outfit. Cat lovers everywhere have great affection for these brooches.  It is probably because Lea Stein has the  ability to creat a feline which reminds many people of their own cat.  This is a perfect Black Cat with dainty paws and a tail curving slightly up.  It really does have character!   The light nature of the cellulose acetate and the sensible positioning of the back pin ensures that the brooch will sit extremely well ( without flopping forwards) and that it is suitable to wear on lighter fabric garments as well as the lapel of a winter coat.  This gorgeous cat brooch measures 4 inches by 1.75 inches approximately.  The pin to the reverse in silver tone, fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp and bears the all important 'Lea Stein Paris' signature.  The reverse of the brooch is in plain black laminate with just a smidgeon of cream to the reverse of the cat's ear.
