Late 1950's - Early 1960's Green Floral and White Bead Set. (Sold)

This set consists of a  beaded necklace with matching earclips.  It is a stunning arrangement of large green plastic and pearlised floral panels worked onto a white glass bead necklace.  The earclips have the same wired bead and leaf work onto gilt metal backs. The earclips and the three panels on the necklace measure approximately one and a quarter inches in diameter with the necklace measuring approximately 15 inches.  The necklace fastens with a hook so there is an opportunity to vary its length slightly.  It is marked 'West Germany' and is typical of the  post war jewellery produced there between the 1950s and 1960s.  It is summery and fresh and light and easy to wear. It has been photographed on Ellie, a life size model so you can see how it looks. It is in good vintage order with just slight wear on the back on the earclips.
