Late 1940's to Early 1950's Diamante Necklace with Faux Amethyst Baguette Stones(Sold)

For fans of 1940s and early 1950s vintage costume jewellery this is just the thing!  A neat collar necklace made up of 35 claw set baguette shaped faux amethyst crystals with 36 bright white round crystal 'diamonds' between them.  This vintage 1940's/1950's necklace has been set into a goldtone metal which makes it a little warmer in colour than the usual silvertone.  This super vintage necklace measures a bit over 15 and a quarter inches in length.  Each purple baguette stone is approx one quarter of an inch by one eigth of an inch and the glass crystal 'diamonds' are about one eigth of an inch in diameter. in excellent condition with all stones bright and sparkling the necklace fastens with a goldtone bolt ring clasp. I have photographed this vintage necklace on my life size mannekin so you can see how good it looks on!
