Jewelled Petals - A 19th Century Bohemian Brooch on a New Cream Faux Leather Plaited Band

It is easy to see how I choose the name for this beauty!   This antique brooch is round and is divided into a dozen segments reminiscent of the petals on a flower!  Each pressed filigree 'petal' has been hand set with a sparkly bright coloured jewel.There are red, aquamarine blue, purple and yellow glass crystals around a large cupped mauve jewel in the centre. This antique brooch is Bohemian in origin and dates from the end of the 19th Century.  It is finished in an old gold colour and it sits very well on the new cream hairband.  The brooch measures 1.5 inches in diameter and is in great condition.  It is shown on my life size Flapper Girl Model - Ellie and is a one size fits all hairband.  If you love the brooch but would like it on a different band it is easy to unpin it and use it in that way.  It could  also be worn as a brooch as a keepsake after the wedding day too!
