French Jet Black Glass Brooch Pin dates to the 1960s

Pretty, sparkling black glass jewellery adds a tasteful touch to any outfit. Here is a vintage brooch, small in size being just 1.5 inches across at its widest points, but big on style! The brooch consists of seven jet black reverse cut glass crystals, surrounded by a dozen smaller regular jewels. The larger jewels are hand set and held in place by 10 claws each; whilst just four claws a piece works well for the smaller stones. The jewels are set in a 'Japanned' or black-finished metal setting with a roll-over clasp holding the pin closed. Dating to the 1960s this vintage brooch is offered in excellent condition.
