Flower Power Pin! 1960s Flower Brooch in Hot Pink and Burgundy (SOLD)

This cool vintage floral brooch takes you right back to the swinging sixties! Here we have a metal daisy type brooch which has been cold enamelled on its petals.  Half the shaped petals are bright pink and the others are burgundy. On this flower brooch the centre of the flower head is a burgundy colour 'button' and this oversized bloom sits on a little green stem with leaf. Measuring approximately 3 inches in length with the flower head being 1.75 inches in diameter this brooch in in excellent condition. There is a mottled paint effect to the reverse of the brooch and it fastens with a secure roll over type clasp on its white metal back plate and pin. It is likely that this brooch is from the 1960s or the very early years of the 1970s when flower jewellery and motifs were all the rage. This cold enamelled flower pin would add a touch of sixties style to your wardrobe.
