.Cat Lovers everywhere will adore this delightful Lea Stein Brooch! Influences of Liberty and the Cath Kidston thing for all things floral make this a really contemporary choice. Made of  cellulose acetate or rhodoid this brooch has a super pink, green, blue and yellow 'Ditsy' flower print all over on a cream background. This kitty has bold black watchful eyes and the little triangles in the ears are black too.  The reverse has a good marbled red green laminate.  It is funny how collectors get used to looking to see if a pin has an interesting reverse! The cat has its tail up and the 3-D effect of  the brooch makes it very appealing.  Indeed this Cat design is one of the most popular designs that Lea Stein has ever created. It is probably something to do with the fact that this feline reminds people of their own cat with its dainty paws, wide eyes and the way its tail curves slightly up.
