Floral Vintage Brooch - 1950 Lucite - Pair of Purple Flowers Pin (Sold)
A cute and pretty 1950s Lucite brooch is on offer here. The flowers are simply carved and the leaves have been positioned to overlap each other, it is jolly and perfect to pin on your outfit! The brooch which has been hand carved has mauve or purple flowers and grey/green leaves. This vintage pin measures 3.5 cms square but benefits from the points being cut to make the overall shape an octagon. This 1950s floral brooch is just over 0.5 cms in thickness and the angled cutting gives the whole thing the effect of a relective rim. Lovely! Offered in excellent order and fastening with a secure, guarded pin to the reverse this item would be very much at home in a collection of early plastic jewellery.
