Dog Brooch -Ric The Terrier by Lea Stein Paris - Pearl Cream (SOLD)

Ric the Terrier is one a range of cute dog brooches and pins designed by Lea Stein of Paris.  Ric is a vintage style brooch that will appeal to all who adore Terrier dogs.  Here we have a large pearl cream coloured terrier dog with black ears, nose and eye plus a collar with a lozenge tag detail. It is by the famous Parisian designer Lea Stein and it has her signature on the 'v' shaped pin fastening to prove it. This  dog is the colour of rich cream with a laminate that has a pleasing cross-hatched pattern to it. Its a neutral shade so the  colour works well on denim and bright winter coats.  The reverse laminate has the Lea Stein quirk that collectors love its plain cream but one ear is black and the other ear and the nose tip are purple and gold patterned. Sustainability is a priority to Lea Stein - nothing wasted. The  Lea Stein Ric the Terrier Brooch measures about 9 cms by 6 cms. It is made of layered celluloid acetate or rhodoid.
LeaStein must be delighted with her Ric design as he comes in this collar stud style and also in a collar which has no drop tag but three studs as the detail on it.
