Blue Art Deco Necklace - Open Set Crystal Necklace from the 1920s - 1930s (SOLD)
Here is a delightful Art Deco Necklace dating to the late 1920s through to the 1930s. Art Deco jewellery has a really modern look and is always a stylish choice. This fabulous Art Deco necklace is a classic example of the best workmanship and design. Here we have quality blue lead crystal glass jewels which have been beautifully faceted and carefully hand set into chrome plated mounts. The attention to detail is such that the metal surrounds which hold the jewels in place have an etched decoration on them too. The jewels are not foiled so never lose their lustre. This Art Deco necklace uses just five oblong blue gems with eight square jewels to make up the design. The rich blue colour looks great with the steely shiny chromed metal chain. The length of the necklace is 15.5 inches, the central detail panel drops 1.5 inches approx. This vintage necklace is in Excellent condition and it fastens with a bolt ring clasp.
