Art Deco Haircomb - Classic 1920s to 1930s (SOLD)

This fabulous celluloid hair comb, dating to the 1920s to 1930s is a strong Art Deco design.  It is reminiscent of Lotus flower symbols from the ancient Egyptian and yet is has a really modern feel about it too.  The comb has a rounded top with sections cut out and sections filled with sparkling diamante jewels and silver pins for decoration.  This curved and decorated top sits upon five sturdy teeth and it is just as wearable today as when it would have first 'gone out dancing' more than 80 years ago!  For fans of antique hair ornaments, lovers of the Art Deco era or for anyone looking for a glamorous hair accessory this one is just the job!
