Art Deco Diamante set Celluloid Buckle or Hat Trim Circa 1930's

This is a gorgeous example of bakelite era plastic used to its best effect!  This piece was made in France  of  black celluloid set with lots of sparkly crystal diamante.  It would have been used on a simple crepe belt or to decorate a hat band.  It is in great condition and measures approx 6cms by 4cms (2.5 by 1.5 ins) at its widest points.
