Art Deco 1920s to 1930s Amber colour with Cream Scarf Ring - Chunky Celluloid
This is decorative scarf ring from the past in a fab colour mix, it has the clear and opaque look of natural Baltic amber with creamy swirls. Dating to the Art Deco era - 1920s to 1930s it is made from the collectable early plastic celluloid. It is a golden yellow and cream white colour which glows in natural light. It benefits from a nice chunky structure and is a smooth oval shape with the typical join line seen on genuine celluloid jewellery. This type of early plastic jewellery is among the most desirable to collectors of Bakelite era pieces. The scarf ring measures almost an inch and three quarters in length with a half inch wide space so it has a nice generous oval to thread through your scarf. You use it like a toggle or woggle to simply slip over your scarf ends and retain them in a neat way. Perfect for silks, pashminas and other fine fabric scarves. The scarf ring is in excellent condition.
