Antique and Vintage Glass Bead Necklace with sterling silver clasp (SOLD)

Completely original and unique, this glass necklace has been made up from all the wonderful old and odd beads that I have acquired over the years.  The mix is a bit like a history of beads from the late 19th Century to the mid 20th Century as we have beads from the Victorian period through the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s up to beads from the 1960s.  The come in different shapes and sizes and are from many different countries. They represent many of the fashions and styles of their own eras.  Together they make a most wearable necklace.  They have been threaded onto 'Beadalon' making almost 20 inches in length and have a sterling silver bolt ring clasp to fasten them. Every bead is in excellent condition and the largest is a little over half an inch in diameter.  Here is a list of some of the beads included:  Venetian Slip trailed glass beads, Italian Milliefiori beads, Peking Glass Beads, Foil Glass beads, Art Glass beads, Trade beads, faux turquoise beads, faux agate beads, Czechoslavakian and bohemian pressed glass beads, a Turkish eye bead, goldstone glass beads with copper inclusions, an African recycled glass bead and some French jet or black glass round and seed beads.
