A Variegated Large Ivy Leaves Brooch By Exquisite England

The leaves on this lovely vintage Ivy brooch are really good looking with lots of variegated colour and raised veins on the three leaves and a lovely delicate copper tone margin to the larger leaf.  It’s a 3-D brooch that is really natural and beautiful. It is one of a range of a dozen Leaf brooches and earrings designed by W.A.P Watson trading as Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  All of their designs were registered to prevent other companies copying!  The metal has a golden tone finish to the branches and stems of the leaves and the reverse of the pin where the signature 'Exquisite' can be clearly seen. This is the larger sized Ivy Leaf in their range which offered two sizes of this style.  The cold enamel was hand painted onto the pieces which is why the colourways vary such a lot.  This one has the three variegated green/brown leaves with the brown stem and yellow roots.  It is in great vintage order and is very pretty indeed.  It has a metal pin with a secure roll over type c clasp fastening.  This vintage brooch measures approximately 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches.  It is very wearable and would be just the thing for your vintage costume jewelry collection!
