A 1960s Vintage Exquisite Iris Brooch - Larger Sized Brooch

Do you love your garden.  Here is a beautiful large sized Iris brooch signed Exquisite from their much collected Flowers of the Month range.  This costume brooch is one of the original 1960s flower brooches which benefit from a true 3-D design.  This brooch has been hand painted as there are subtle differences in its decoration. The all important Exquisite bow around the stems of the flowers is a feature to the front and the Exquisite signature is on the back but is hard to make the design number is there also, again more of a blank block than something easy to read.  The Iris Brooch is the pin for April .   Because these pieces were hand finished, you get marked variations in the colours.  This one has a subtle gold effect metal edge to the flowers and nice bright colours with kelly green leaves and two tones of blue with a yellow flash on the flowers themselves and a little blue bud peeping out to one side.  It is in a very good vintage condition - just a little paint enamel loss in places.  What a great gift for anyone who has a April Birthday or just because you like it! Approximate measurements are  6.5cms (2.5ins) by 5 cms (2ins).  This item fastens with a secure rollover type clasp.
