A 1960's Signed Exquisite Horse Chestnut Brooch - Autumn Conker Pin

So Autumnal and very realistic this lovely cold enamel brooch is one of a range of a dozen Leaf brooches and earrings designed in the 1960's by Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  All of their designs were registered to prevent other companies copying!  This Horse Chestnut pin features a lovely shiny caramel brown conker sitting in a kelly green prickly case. It sits on a variegated light caramel brown,lime green and golden edged  horse chestnut leaf behind.  The metal has a pale gold tone finish to the branches and stems of the leaves and the reverse of the pin where the signature 'Exquisite' can be clearly seen.  The cold enamel was hand painted onto the pieces which is why the colour ways vary such a lot and this gives each brooch in the range its unique character!  This lovely 1960's vintage brooch is in very good condition with a secure roll over type c clasp fastening.  This vintage brooch measures approximately 3inches by 2.5 inches.  It is very wearable and would be just the thing for  seasonal wear in autumn.  Why not add it to your vintage costume jewelry collection?
