1970's - 1980's Floral Design Evening Purse - Use as Clutch or on Chain (Sorry this item is sold)

This heavily beaded evening bag is a real gem!  It is really encrusted with beads, there must be hundreds and thousands of them on here!  Most probably this was made out in Hong Kong, a great centre for beading evening purses and bags. The floral pattern is delightful!  It is different on both sides so you can ring the changes with this one.  Side one has more black bugle beads than silver and two exotic flowers picked out in blue, black and white seed beads. Turn it over and side two is nearly all silver bugle beads with a tiny corner picked out in black and just one of the exotic flowers.  Now we have a choice of styles too. This bag can be used with the handle or without; it will just swing inside completely. You can have an evening bag on a chain or you can have a stylish clutch bag, the choice is yours!  Inside it has a black satin lining with a pocket for a mirror. It measures approximately 5.5 inches by a little over 8 inches.  This great beaded evening purse has a gilt metal frame which fastens with a 'kissing' type clasp and it has a gold tone 'snake' type handle which is approximately 13 inches in length. This cool vintage bag is in good condition, very smart for a summer wedding and great for evenings out too!
