1960's Ivy Leaf Brooch signed Exquisite (Larger Size) Variegated Leaf Pin (SOLD)

These leaves on this lovely vintage Ivy brooch are really natural looking with lots of variegated colour and raised veins on the three leaves.  It is one of a range of a dozen Leaf brooches and earrings designed by W.A.P Watson trading as Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  All of their designs were registered to prevent other companies copying!  The metal has a gold tone finish to the branches and stems of the leaves and the reverse of the pin where the signature 'Exquisite' can be clearly seen.  The cold enamel was hand painted onto the pieces which is why the colourways vary such a lot.  This one has the three  variegated green/brown leaves with a touch of  gold tone around the edges.  It is in excellent vintage order with a secure roll over type c clasp fastening.  This vintage brooch measures approximately 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches.  It is very wearable and would be just the thing for your vintage costume jewelry collection!
