1960's Black Crepe Handbag with Diamante Trim (SOLD)

Simple and Chic, this smart little  black crepe purse is just fine for use as a day bag. Turn it over and the subtle sparkly paste 'diamond' decoration means it could take you on into the evening too!  It is lined with black satin and has a mirror pocket edged with silver. The bag has a 'Made in England' label with the logo CFR, which I believe is the intitials of C.F. Rolls, a London manufacturer, who made quality evening purses in the 1950s and the 1960s. The frame is plain silver tone with a 'kissing' type clasp.  The two handles are also made from crepe fabric. This vintage bag measures a little under 7 inches square.  The condition is great on the outside but the lining does have a couple of little marks, maybe make-up? It does not spoil that bag however, it just  shows it has been used and is a genuine vintage hand bag.
